Akhil Bhartiya Maheshwari Mahasabha, the apex body of entire Maheshwari Community in India has constituted a committee to provide support and facilities to promote higher education amongst the students of the community. This committee is named as "Chatrawas Yojana and Nirman Samitee" having Ramnivas Mandhani(Jalna) as All India Coordinator and other members includes Shamsundar Kabra(Mumbai), Surendra Mandhana(Navi Mumbai), Prakashji Baheti(Khandwa), Pravin Sikchi(Aurangabad) and K.K. Rathi(Bhavani Mandi) as its members

In view of this, some visionaries and philanthropist came forward and decided to construct a boys hostel at Pune, with the aim to provide excellent boarding and lodging facilities to the aspiring students at the moderate rates. It has been decided that the atmosphere in the hostel should be maintained such that, along with education the residing student understand their duties towards the society and nation.

Pune being a cultural capital, it is upcoming as biggest educational hub and students from all over India pursue their studies at Pune in almost all education field and disciplines. Thus the committee to decided to construct its first hostel in Pune.

A charitable trust was constituted with the affiliation of Chatrawas Yojana and Nirman Samiteein year 2006 is registered in Pune bearing Registration No E4636/Pune dt. 28/08/2006. Later on it also got the Income tax exemption under 80G. In this process many eminent personalities from all over India came forward and extended their support for construction of this hostel.

In year 20006, land was purchased and Bhoomi poojan was carried out on 7^th Sept 2007. Construction work started on 18th July 2008 after completing architectural plan and all necessary formalities. The work was completed in record time and hostel was handed over to community on 4^th July 2009.

The hostel has 54 fully furnished rooms with triple occupancy. All rooms are provided with attached bathroom, W.C., balcony, fan, hot water, individual study table, beds and wardrobe facilities. The Accommodation intake capacity is 162 students.

The hostel is also provided with Dining Hall of 50 students capacity. Library with reading hall, TV room and fully equipped kitchen with hot-pot facilities. A trained team of staff in kitchen and house-keeping is appointed. There is WI-FI connectivity in the entire hostel building and also CCTV Surveillance as a part of security is available.

The hostel is running smoothly since 2009 and helped many students of the community.
